IEEE Region 6 is one of ten global IEEE regions and encompasses the western United States, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and parts of Wyoming. It’s one of the most active regions, with a strong focus on innovation, industry collaboration, and member engagement. Notably, Region 6 includes Northern California — home to Silicon Valley, a world-renowned hub for technology and entrepreneurship.
